2. Berries 

Berries are rich in colour and children love everything colourful on their plate. Try one variant of berry each day for your child. It might be strawberries, cherries, blackberries or blueberries. It is said that the brighter the colour of the berry is, the more nutritious it is. Studies have also shown that berries being rich in antioxidants also improve brain development and memory. It also protects your child's’ brain from free radical damage.

3. Oatmeal 

Oatmeal is one of the best breakfast options for kids as it is very rich in soluble fiber, zinc, B vitamins, Vitamin E and potassium that helps the body and the brain to function well.

Oatmeal is always a better breakfast option for kids than cereals as cereals spike the blood sugar level in your kids while oats supply a steady dose of morning energy.

4. Milk and yogurt 

This is rich in calcium and we know how amazing calcium is for the development of a child’s bone and teeth. Besides, dairy foods are also packed with proteins and B vitamins that help in the growth of brain tissue, neurotransmitters, and enzymes. Nuts are extremely rich in omega-3 fatty acids that help to concentrate and improve the cognitive function. Walnuts and almonds are the best to improve brain function and help your child to focus in class.
