Here are a few home remedies to control low blood pressure:

1. Have salt

While in high blood pressure, salt is a complete no-no; in case you have low blood pressure, you must add at least a teaspoon of salt to your diet every day. Moderate amount of salt is very essential to maintain healthy body functions. After a workout out session, have a glass of limewater with a pinch of salt.

But never go overboard with salt as it may lead to water retention and increase blood pressure count.

2. Eat meals frequently in small portions

Keep munching on something or the other in case you have low blood pressure. Avoid long eating gaps as it may lead to a drop in blood pressure. Always keep a jar of healthy snacks ready like some granola, nuts or dry fruits.

Besides, pomegranate juice rich in polyphenols also improves low blood pressure count.
