One of the most common accuses of frequent urination is UTI. This is a condition in which the bacteria enter the bladder through the urethra. If you are not enough hydrated or have vaginal inflammation, you might get UTI.

 

Overactive Bladder (OAB) –

If you have an overactive bladder, then the urge to urinate frequently arises. Most people have an overactive bladder that gives the urgency to urinate frequently. There are many causes that may lead to OAB like injuries, estrogenic deficiency, stroke, multiple sclerosis and even obesity.  

 

Prostate Problems -

An enlarged prostate contributes to excessive frequent urination. Due to enlargement in size, it presses against the urethra causing irritation to the bladder walls. As a result, even with small amounts of urine, the bladder contracts causing the urge to frequently urinate.

 

Diabetes -

Frequent urination is one classic sign of high blood sugar levels or diabetes. As diabetes worsens, it affects the nerves around the bladder causing the bladder to dysfunction and hence excess urination.

 

Pregnancy -

Pregnant ladies face the most uncomfortable situation in the form of frequent urination urge. As the uterus starts growing, it puts pressure on the bladder, hence frequent urination.
